The story behind the vase maker

I’m a Japanese ceramic artist named Takeshi Tanaka. I’ve dedicated over 30 years to creating ceramic art, pouring my heart into every piece. Inspired by my grandfather, I chose this path and discovered it’s a way to express life and nature. My works have received attention and appreciation, giving me opportunities to share my experiences and ideas. Despite challenges and market changes, I’ve never regretted becoming a ceramic artist. Through my work, I experience the joy of giving life to an object and communing with nature. As a seasoned artist, my works have enthusiasts around the world. To the young people who want to become artists themselves, I say: love what you do, pursue excellence, and the path to success will open up.
